There has been talk of them getting back together all year. I could have sworn there was a discussion about this in the Mr. Bungle thread. Anyway, here's a link. And yes, I think Patton is in.

They've been playing shows again for about a year now.

I'm completely shocked you didn't know! As mentioned, they've been touring all year but have yet to play a show in the states. They've done Europe, South America, Australia soon, but no dates announced for the US yet. I heard they might play Coachella, which I couldn't give a damn about. I want to see them in a smaller venue but that never happens when well-known bands reunite. It's all festivals. Guess I'll have to attend one if I want to see them. I also haven't heard any official talk of new material, but they're one of the few band reunions from which I would welcome new material. It just better not suck if it happens! :bringit:

Just got done playing this...excellent for the most part.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm becoming a McCartney fan :/ I actually marked as loved 90% of tracks on that album.

Edit: I just noticed that this picture is taken from a site commenting on how McCartney is fondling this ram goat, which symbolizes Satan :D. And there's a whole article on The Beatles Antichrist acts.

*Will have to thank Paul again, for making me discover such a wondrous web.

Hmm... google tells me that Jim Martin is not a part of this reunion and apparently Jon Hudson is back. That kind of sucks.

Yeah many people were hoping for Jim Martin. It certainly would have been cool, but I like the last two albums so those guys are cool with me.

I like Trey Spruance a lot, probably more than Jim Martin actually, but Jon Hudson is kind of on the boring side as a guitarist.

Yeah I guess he's not too exciting. Never thought much about it.
