The era, perhaps, but FNM and RATM are definitely not grunge. Some will argue the others aren't either, but I'm not one of those.
Regardless, those are all good albums. |

I wouldn't really count STP either, but that album was while they were still pandering to the Grunge crowd and before their god-awful post-grunge watered-down Rolling Stones phase. |

I know I'm probably the only person in the world that would say this, but this might be my favorite indie pop album from the 80s. It's really just simplistic pop music that a lot of people probably find sappy, but it's pretty much impossible to be unhappy listening to it. The extra songs from the singles add a lot too. |
