freaking fantastic album, the use of samples at certain points is mindblowing, and the Beastie Boys have shown how cohesive they are, albeit not that great lyrically.

Elsiane - Hybrid

Unique voice. Good downtempo tunes. Excellent triphop.

Grateful Dead - Europe '72

So...this is the Dead of my father's generation. A wild menagerie of styles (folk, bluegrass, psychedelia among others) packed into one tremendous triple live album. There are plenty of naysayers here that will dispute this (hell, it was the Dead's first venture outside the States) but it's the absolute best live recording I've heard in a very long while. There's more than a fair share of covers but it doesn't detract from the pace or quality of the album and probably works better than anything else they could have done.

Choice Tracks: Cumberland Blues, Jack Straw, I Know You Rider, Truckin', Morning Dew

The Flaming Lips- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Oh god this is awesome. Fight Test is one of the best songs ever.

Nick Drake- Bryter Layter
Soothing autumnal melodies and excellent lyrics.

Upper Air by Bowerbirds and the self titled album from A Place to Bury Strangers. A Place to Bury Strangers is a bit of a harsh listen but it's rewarding to get through

i concur. great album! the singles from that album are also worth tracking down, there are some great remixes on them.

also check out their new B-Sides EP. the track What Does It Mean is one of their best yet, i can't stop listening to it.

wAgAwAgA - Mrepsican

Stupid name, good music. It's basically dubstep, but to me it's as much IDM and dowtempo as it is dubstep. In other words, it's not your run-of-the-mill, cookie-cutter dubstep.

Edit: I forgot to mention there are a few songs to stream here and you can download the whole thing free at 320kbps: Mrepsican | Acroplane.org

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

^ Probably my favourite Dylan by now. So grim, cold and miserable - just my kinda thing then!
