That's pretty much exactly how I describe the majority of the indie scene of this decade!

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Listening to Mish Mash by Regurgitator... damn good, fun punchy pop / rock with a splash of some hip hop, even!

I really wish more more punk albums grabbed me like this one. Not as raw as some, but with more balls and energy than London Calling could muster. Probably on par with Machine Gun Etiquette, from my standpoint.
When i was in my early teens and naive and fancied myself as some kind of mod i used to listen to Weller and The Jam a lot and to be honest i'm not sure if i've listened to them since. This album was always my favourite though, it really is fantastic. I may have to dig this one out.

We've been doing it all wrong man, all wrong.

Bunch of kooky neo-pagans jamming in a cave before their next bloody raid? Thank you very much Wotan.

Since I've been seeing stuff about ...And So I Watch You From Afar's s/t, I thought I'd add this in here:

This Is Our Machine and Nothing Can Stop It was one of my first post rock albums, and it's a damn good one at that. These guys can be pretty vicious when they want to.

I remember downloading that album a month ago and hearing it then, and not liking it. I got extremely surprised today, it's really good.

I like it better than S.F. Sorrow.

Lagwagon - Let's Talk About Feelings

One of my favorite 90s pop punk/melodic hardcore bands. I played Hoss and Double Plaidinum earlier, this now. The last of the classic era, though their last two from this decade weren't bad.
