Jacob's ladder is an awesome song
Actually, the entire Permanent Waves album is gold! Spirit of radio is my all time favorite rush song.
Just that, i haven't given their other stuff a good listen yet.

EDIT:
Next Album-

Russian Circles-Enter
From being quiet to bursting out as heavy as Isis, this album amazes me!
9/10...Superb instrumental stuff.
Recommended for Isis/Pelican fans.

Genesis-Nursery Cryme
Been quite a while since i listened to them...Refreshingly good.(although i have listened to it b4)
I just love the keyboards and the dark sound of the album...can't suggest any favorites cuz all the tracks are equally good.

Smashing Pumpkins - Adore

This ablum has been out of my personal rotation for awhile, but For Martha came across my Pandora station recently and I remembered how good this album is. There's no point in debating which is their best, but Adore is my favorite.

DINOSAUR JR-YOUR'E LIVING ALL OVER ME

Screechy guitars, feedback, classy pop structures and one seminal 80's American guitar albums. Own it, love it.

KRAFTY KUTS-BACK TO MINE

Part of the ongoing 'Back To Mine' series, this recently released compilation from Krafty Kuts is exactly what you would hope for and expect. Funky old school Hip-Hop and Electro. White boy Funk and dirty breaks. It's all here and it gets the party started!

YEASAYER-ALL HOUR CYMBALS

Beach Boy-esque vocal harmonies. Essences of Indian Classical music. Beautiful pop sensibilities. A major find for me. <3 <3.

AMON TOBIN-SUPERMODIFIED

Aphex Twin does Jazz filtered through groovy synth work by way of twisted Drum and Bass loops. Dark, twisted Electronica, yet surprisingly accessible. The more you listen, the more you are entwined.

Vertex -Buck 65

Richard Telfly's imagination and ability to rap about anything is great on this album. I'm definitely a fan.

I'm digging the Lemonheads lately. This album is such a 90's classic.

DCFC-Narrow Stairs
Sounds a lot different from plans...more like their earlier works.
I still don't think its better than plans.
The entire album is also a bit heavier than any of their previous ones.
Favorites:I will posses your heart(I just luub the 4 and half minute intro), Cath, Grapevine Fires, no sunlight, Your New Twin Sized Bed.
8/10.

Moonlyght-Shining
Progressive metal with lots of power/folk elements.
Great album!
Really underrated band from Quebec, canada.
Favorites:Malediction, hazard, radiance, middle.
8/10.

Goblin-Roller
Excellent progressive rock from italy.
The keyboards are just awesome.
Favorite track-Goblin Easily! Other favorites:Roller, The snake awakens, Aquaman
9/10.

Dissection-storm of the light's bane
Just re listening it again...been quite a while and i totally forgot about them.
Perfect example of melodic black metal. Jon Nödtveidt(their vocalist/lead guitarist) was truly a satanist in real life and had a lot of passion in the music he was making. Truly an EPIC black metal album. Must-Listen for anyone who likes the genre.
Favorite songs:Where the dead angels lie, Night's blood, Retribution, Thorns of crimson death.
10/10.
