I had to share this fantastic Acid Folk album Parallelograms by Linda Perhacs from 1970. I fell in love with it from the first seconds. It's so smooth and so magical, yet so experimental.

Here are some samples from the album:

Haven't played this in a while. Polish nu/future jazz. Think Amon Tobin lite. Very lite.

pm please :D

one of Bjork's earliest bands. did a few records in the mid 80s. very harsh stuff, but also very awesome. many of the same people later went on to form Sugarcubes.

Streamlined and pitch-perfect, they sound extremely similar to Jellyfish (although with a 'grungier' guitar sound to fit the era). Just top-shelf power pop, i.e. not too soppy, inventive chord changes, two-part harmonies, some clever lyrics. They never made it really big though; too pop-savvy for their own good perhaps.

Classic track: 'Solar Sister'

I bought that when it came out.
I think I probably played it to death.

Not as good as Redd Kross though :D
