Bob Dylan - Love and Theft

Basically, I'm a huge fan of that trio of later Dylan albums; Time Out Of Mind, the Modern Times and, of course, this one. Don't get me wrong though, Together Through Life still sucks hard, seeing as it ended a chain of great albums like these. Full of some great, old-timer blues and rock 'n' roll - love it!

David Bowie - Live @ Nassau Coliseum, 1976

Not to mention a certain album I'm meant to be reviewing for the old Weekly Trade thing, which I should have posted fairly soon...

The Voodoo Trombone Quartet - Again

More albums need to be this fun. All instrumental fun jazzy pop dance music that will be sure to get your foot moving.

I found a decent file and while I was waiting for it to download I went back to itunes to see what was the most popular release of chopin's perennial work. In my search I happened to stumble onto Jacques Loussier's Impressions on Chopin's Nocturnes, which is a jazz interpretation of all 21 of Chopin's Nocturnes. I previewed a few tracks and was like "this is ****ing amazing. I'm gonna' have to hunt this down sometime." Meanwhile my file had finished downloading and as I opened it crossing my fingers that a 77 mb file was gonna give me the comprehensive nocturnes canon, I quickly realized that I had just downloaded Loussier's album. WTF? It's really every bit as amazing as I thought it would be. Anyone wanting to take a chance and venture out of the comfort zone give me a shout and I'll gladly sort you out.

I'd appreciate that, if you're not too busy that is.

Likewise, I'd be interested in that.

Still getting plenty of listens from me. When I want to be moved by huge dubby basslines with a slight trip hop edge, then this album comes out. If you dig the dubbier side of Thievery Corporation then you HAVE to get this album. I wish I smoked a lot more
