In An Aeroplane Over the Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel

Love this album so much, but I'm really loving it right now, because whenever I listen to it, it inspires me to sketch and draw an awful lot, like I can just put Two-Headed Boy Part Two on repeat and draw for hours and hours, so yeah, its cool

The Best Of Leonard Cohen - Leonard Cohen

I don't care that its a greatest hits album
Point of the matter is, I love him
Favorite Song: So long, Marianne

You Should Be AT Home Here - Carissa's Wierd

<3
It's lovely

Jeniferever - Choose a Bright Morning

Lovely ambient/post-rock from Sweden: I wasn't sure about the vocals at first, but now I really like them.

Jesse Sykes And The Sweet Hereafter-Reckless Burning:spooky alt country/americana.Sounds like Marianne Faithfull fronting the Cowboy Junkies(Trinity Session era)

Gina Villalobos-Miles Away:raspy voiced singer/songwriter in the alt country vein

Andy Partridge - Take Away / The Lure of Salvage

Solo album by the XTC frontman recorded in 1980. Is mostly XTC sounding but with a little bit more experimentation. I actually like this album more than I like XTC's later work.

Pop Levi - The Return to Form Black Magick Party

Another solo album , this one is by the bass player from Ladytron. No electronica here whatsoever this is one big tribute to 70s glam rock. Most people here would probably hate it because of that but because I love T-Rex I could lap this kinda stuff up all day.

Stack Waddy - Bugger Off

Stack Waddy are remembered mostly for 3 things.
1. Being signed to John Peel's own record label
2. This album was banned by Woolworths because of the title
3. Their lead singer would throw bottles at or beat up any hecklers
The music itself is a kind of scuzzed out garage rock combination of Captain Beefheart and lots of feedback & noise , with a few blues riffs thrown in.
In fact they cover Willie The Pimp on this album & Sure Nuff Yes I Do on their S/T debut.

I Was A Teenage Satan Worshipper - Whatevernights

Get a huge load of Primal Scream , JAMC , My Bloody Valentine. Mix with a small splash of Daft Punk and you end up with this.
Wonderful.

Can't post images yet...

Chris Bell - I Am the Cosmos
Unbearably beautiful. I've been revisiting this one over the past few days.

Gene Clark - No Other
Gene Clark is easily one of my favorite artists, and this album blows me away. Epic.

Gene Clark & Carla Olson - So Rebellious A Lover
Great combination... Essential for Gene Clark fans.
