Speaking of kick-arse sleeve artwork, I'm just giving this a quick spin myself...

It's the name of the group, but it's one they share with the screamo band. They're a couple of Mancunian DJs, and the album's a kind of avante-house, ambient kinda thing. Worth a listen, definitely, but it is quite a difficult album.

Tosca is an offshoot of the mighty Kruder & Dorfmeister who you seriously need to checkout.

Another blast from the past:

Johnny Cash - American III: Solitary Man

It's been awhile since I've visited the American series, but this one is by far my favorite. Songs like "Wayfaring Stranger", "The Mercy Seat", "Nobody", and "I Won't Back Down" are some of his best and most underrated.

Yeah, I've heard of those two somewhere before. I've said before I'm giving the old downloading-insane-amounts-of-new-music thing a bit of a break, but I'll be checking them out when I'm up for it again.

Lime Spiders - The Cave Comes Alive!

^ Absolutely wonderful Aussie punk this - part of that scene that came around after Radio Birdman split and Chris Bailey disappeared up his own arse. Another little gem I've had for a while and not properly appreciated 'til now.

I'm slowing down my downloading too for a bit. I'm trying to listen a little deeper into what I already have and buy a little more too.

Yeah, I'll start to feel bad for downloading a ton of music online but when I buy tickets for shows and am completely fucked out the ass by live nation service charges suddenly a download here and there doesn't seem so terrible.
