It's mostly that I've been a little obsessed with the latest Frusciante album lately so I'm hearing similarities in weird places.

Have you ever checked out his side project band ataxia?

It may seem out of the box for me, but I am really enjoying Moby's "Wait for Me" lately, soothing, relaxing stuff it is... good for my mind when I have been putting it into overdrive all day. An album to unwind to, for sure...

No I haven't but I need to -I'm actually going through Frusciante's solo albums now because I never listened to anything he's done since his first solo album back in '95. Something about the newest one grabbed me and I'm really entranced by the guy's music now. So, an Ataxia listen is in my near future. Got any?

Last night I was also very much enjoying Narrow Stairs by Death Cab for Cutie, a band I love very much!

I would have never pegged you as a Death Cab fan. Nice!

I love Death Cab... they won me over with Transatlanticism, and then I explored everything else they did before and after!

Sadly, that's the only album I have by them, but I love it. Where do you recommend I go next?

I'd flip back to The Photo Album just prior to Transatlanticism, then Do plans and Narrow Stairs, then the two or so albums pre dating the Photo Album... that also serves as a rough list of how I'd rate each of their albums!

Sweet! Thank you. Downloading them now and I'll get back to you on what I think.

I got it finally, and I'm really diggin it. It just made answering the question: which of the Sgt Pepper, Piper at gates or S. F. Sorrow is the best? more and more difficult. 1967 was really a great year in music history.
