Bomb the Music Industry! - Album Minus Band
I like BTMI!, I like Jeff Rosenstock, I like Ska (I almost said skat there XD) and I like this album. Album Minus Band is BTMI!'s first album and sets the pace for their fast, speratic fusion of ska and synth samples. Favorite Track(s): FRRRREEEEE BIIIIIIIRRRRD!!!!!!!!! FRRRRREEEEEEEEE BIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRDDD!!!! Evergreen Terrace - Writer's Block It's a covers album with alot of my favorite 90s alt covers. I saw Evergreen Terrace when I went to a Strung Out concert a couple months back (I'd never heard of them until I got to the show) and instantly enjoyed them. Favorite Track(s): Knowledge (Op Ivy), Zero (Smashing Pumpkins), Mad World (Tears for Fears), and Plowed (Sponge) Deep Dish - George is On I don't listen to much techo and my friend told me to quit talking to him about Pendulum and listen to something else. So by suggestion of him and constant questioning he told me to get George is On by Deep Dish and Junk Science. Although I like both George is On is a nice easy listen that I'll put on to unwind or if I'm driving a really f*cking long distance. Favorite Track(s): I honestly couldn't tell you since I listen to the album from start to stop every time and the tracks all flow together.

CONFLICT-THE UNGOVERNABLE FORCE
Classic 80's politically charged punk. NEONNEON-STAINLESS STYLE Apologies for the small picture. This pop/electro/hip-hop crossover is really beginning to grab my attention UNDERWORLD-EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING A missing link in my Underworld discography. PORCUPINE TREE-ARRIVING SOMEWHERE The soundtrack from the DVD. Great live performance.

Kate Nash "Made of Bricks"
I have poppy teen angst, I have floss, I have mouthwash, I occasionally drink tea. This most certainly is the album for me. Favorite Songs: Mouthwash, Foundations, Nicest Thing, Mariella Beck "Odelay" I've got two turntables and a microphone. It's time to own! Favorite Songs: Devil's Haircut, New Pollution, Jack-Ass, Hotwax Los Campesinos! "Hold On Now, Youngster" I don't need stationary to get me horny. This album does it all for me. Favorite Songs: My Year in Lists, Knee Deep at ATP, 7 This Is How You Spell 'HAHAHA, We Destroyed the Hopes and Dreams of a Generation of Faux-Romantics', ...And We Exhale and Roll Our Eyes in Unison Elliott Smith "Figure 8" This is the best album ever. Don't argue with me, no never. Favorite Songs: all of them. |

Elliot Smith - XO
I recently got into Elliot Smith and find his voice simply intoxicating. This is one of my favourite albums by far, I only wish I had an actual copy. Favourite Tracks: Waltz #2 (XO), Independence Day, Baby Britian Andrew Bird - Armchair Apocrypha Continuing on with my recent singer-songwriter binge, Andrew Bird's songs are so damn catchy! (Elliot Smith's too for that matter.) My friend and I alway start singing in the car when we hear Heretics ad his music perks up my day when its ****ty. Favourite Tracks: Heretics, Itomosis |

Figure 8 is more inaccessible but much more rewarding. It's also a much more unique release, it's more big and baroque pop and closer to the album Ellitot would've listened to himself and really wanted to make. From a Basement on the Hill would've been that album but he died while making it so we got a really...well we got a different album from what he would've delivered. Anyway I'm digressing, if you're going to get another one I'd grab XO.
