The Replacements "Let It Be"
Radiohead....mainly the collectors discs of "Kid A", "Amnesiac" & "Hail To The Thief"...but that also drove me back to the album, which in essence has drove me back to the other four because I hadn't listened to them since the last wave of Collector release a few months back -_-

^

I recently got that album The '59 Sound by Gaslight Anthem and I have to say I was very surprised at how well it was done. Their debut album was amazing as well.

Yage - The Woodlands Of Old

^ Acid-techno is the most fitting description of this I've come across. To call this album left-of-centre is like calling the White Album a bit unfocused. Bloody good stuff all the same though.

Prince - Batman OST

Conclusive evidence that the 80s were awesome

Scott Walker - 'til the Band Comes In

And I was prompted to give this another go today. It's only the second side, comprised entirely of covers, that lets this album down. Otherwise there are some brilliant songs on it.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Very much enjoying Kingdom of Rust by Doves tonight... I love the sense of urgency, added electricity this album contains... I always felt this band deserved Coldplay levels of attention... yet they seem to float underneath that level of attention, although they have quite a bit of notoriety in their homeland and abroad....

As a kind-of newbie to jazz/fusion everybody tells me this is a defining record in terms of the scene. I really love it.

^ Yes, brilliant album. Haven't heard it for a while. Maybe I should give it a spin today.

Listened to Echolalia by Something for Kate tonight... forgot how much I love this album... full of great melodies and lyrics, which never fail to satisfy my more thoughtful, more reflective side....
