Finally got around to watching/listening to this live performance. Really loved it! Regis has just been getting better and better since he came back to his main moniker, Lou Reed covers, industrial dirges, rubbery dark techno tracks, and post punk detours. This release encapsulates the absolute best parts. The man is an old head, but he doesn't dwell in the past either. |

Danses et rythmes de la Turquie D'Hier À Aujourd'hui Les Mogol (1971, Concert Hall) Well known French-Turkish landmark lp from the 60s. The opening track is a killer. Not all tracks come off as effectively but it's a nice throwback overall.
