"The Little Giant"

Yeah, I'd say that is my least favorite of his but it's still a fantastic record. It's a shame he never got bigger than he did.

B.J. Cole
The New Hovering Dog

Progressive folk that reminds me of Robert Wyatt and various other Canterbury scene bands/artists. That first track is fantastic. Gets jazzy too.

I've been listening to Repulsion - Horrified most days at the gym this week. The production is perfect - chainsaw bass and really hard guitar tone. The version on Spotify has a bunch of their demos and live performances, including those from when they were called Genocide. The 1984 stuff really underscores how aggressive they were for their time.

miRthKon
Vehicle

I've brought this album to attention a few times before but it's been forever and I recently just unearthed this CD and popped it into the car. Holy f*ck did I forget how good this was. Frank Zappa and John Zorn fans would slob all over this so if you're a fan of any of those...get on this right now.

Hells yes brother, they're fun as hell. Snacks unfortunately just sounds like a retread. Do you like Panzerballet?

Dude, Snacks opens with a f*cking FIRE first thirty seconds and then just kind of plateaus. It's weird but I've just NEVER been able to get into that album like I did with Vehicle. As for Panzerballet, I think they're talented as f*ck but they never quite grabbed my attention like Mirthkon did.
