I was way into that Tobias Jesso Jr. album back when it came out, it's great.

In the meantime...

1 hour. 44 of the most perfect, ripping pop songs imaginable.

**** me this is great. Every song has its own character and sound, and every song being under 3 minutes (most under 1 minute) makes it not feel like a drag at all.

This is legendary. I can't believe i haven't heard this slice of guitar pop heaven before this moment.

I have Tony Molina on my next work playlist (I have tomorrow off) from your 2018 list that I’m steadily swimming through

You know maximumrocknroll is still a great resource

. OVENS is a San Francisco band that Molina and friends have played in for years

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the end of Maximum Rocknroll as a monthly print fanzine. There will be two more issues of the fanzine in its current format — MRR #432 will be our final print issue. But MRR will continue on as a weekly radio show, vinyl archive, and online resource for record reviews and more.
Pre-internet MRR was a crucially important publication

In my life for around a decade I learned about new bands and different ideas about radical politics

It had a huge impact on me
