The Alan Parsons Project - Eve (1979)

Sometimes I like going full circle back to bands that got me into different genres. Always been a big APP fan, but this album in particular explores some cool gender politics and features a lot of great guest singers, including Clare Torry (Pink Floyd) and also the phenomenal Lesley Duncan on the closing cut.

Tanukichan - Sundays (2018)

Nice blend of shoegaze n' late 60's pop with a scuzzy veneer at times. I appreciated the experimental ideas bubblng just under the surface, plus Toro Y Moi's production isn't half bad either. Might grow on me even more as we head into the backhalf of 2018.

TROTSKY ICEPICK - El Kabong (1989)

Hint of post-punk, with a pop edge. Definite elphenor suggestion, and not just because of the dickhead in the band name.

Various Artists - Charli XCX Reworks

Some remixes of 5 In The Morning and 3AM as a bonus track. I dig.

Taj Mahal
The Natch'l Blues

Classic Taj that really just hit the spot just now. I've been disappointed by him with a few albums but this is top natch.

"Just" is one of those words I abuse as well, but I try to keep it to just once a sentence at the very most.

That's just an unjust adjustment of justice, Justin.

"The Spy" is my favorite Doors song. None of that pseudo poetic lizard king bullsh*t. Shut up Jim. You have a sweet ass voice and you show it on "The Spy". It's one of my go to songs to sing when I'm drunk.

Flying Lotus - You're Dead! He's a brilliant artist, and this album is an intoxicating listen.
Dean Blunt - Black Metal. An interesting one, dark and moody, but also sweet and laid back. Definitely urge you to give it a spin if you haven't already.
