The second volume of tunes from the Brazilian Voodoohop Art Collective.
Live, it's like Fluxus having its own special flashmob tradition mixed with Portuguese ritual event-scanning. Musically, it's afoxê meeting On-U Sound in a secret back alley trying to score some flakka but with limited success. Entropia Coletiva II |

It's All Around You by Tortoise been on a Tortoise kick lately and while their s/t or TNT are closer to my personal favorite, this one is too often slept on. even tho the album art looks like a 70s-era prog band entering their forgotten twilight years, it's certainly not. "The Lithium Stiffs" might be one of my favorite tracks of theirs period. |

George Russell Presents The Esoteric Circle Album is f*cking whacko. Avant garde post bop lunacy. Big players include Terje Rypdal on guitar and Jan Garbarek on tenor and also wrote the damn thing. Russell produced it. Totally forgotten piece of crazy. |
