Let's just do a quick recap. Kanye made a pretty decent mini album, Oneohtrix Point Never made something incredible, Laura Marlings LUMP album is great, I'm gently easing into Father John Mistys album (which is going under the radar) and now this. All released on the same fucking day. Not that this is any surprise but this is so much better than her last record. Nothing as brilliant as Middle Cyclone or Blacklisted, but it shows signs of it all its own. Definitely wish to catch her this tour. |
That cover is an abortion.

I just bought this on vinyl I'm in love with it and it proves that rap music is the most exciting thing happening in today's music I'm going back to Yeezus and Brockhampton and JPEGMAFIA when I listen to this and it's like the post-trap wave along with Kanye's new **** even cause he's so involved like like it or not he's the king of rap and he has a hand right in everything it's almost scary the kind of involvement he has because he seems to be a cotnrolling behind the scenes character but anyways rap music right now is in it's new wave phase coming out of the disco that was trap and it has so many musical influences now directly coming from the 80s culture looking back and **** and but onto the dark brooding experimental form type of nature 80s music had for the most part too I'm so obsessed with msuci right now and also super high yeah |
