I feel like I vaguely know what youre talking about and maybe a krautrock or prog album is the answer. Is the artwork in a similar style to Amputechture?

Nah. The blue part is a real picture and I think it was like two indian guys sitting on scaffolding. The red square in the middle is what I know for sure is there. Something about the architecture of the city behind them/overall imagery reminds me of Kowloon too.

Been absolutely obsessed with this album for the past month now since my dad showed it to me. Easily my favorite "glitch" album if you could call it that.

Great (if a bit dated) example of microsound glitch (I play this in Plug at times).
