goddamn this is some elite tier black metal goodness. i'm assuming everyone knows about this and i'm just late to the party but it's w/e. compositionally it's hard to nail down cause a lot of it seems to be derived from straight up black metal but there are these chugging riffs and instrumental passages that really separate them from the pack, nice fusion of the melodic elements with the more traditional sound. the vocals are also pretty unique, almost like if mayhem did spoken word. and they're Colombian so that's cool.

Murder Of The Universe is definitely one of the worst records I've heard all year. The spoken word shit that permeates throughout the entire album is all garbage and gets stale after the first track.

This is my record of the moment. The one I'm putting most repeat listens into these days.
Suzanne Vega - Lover, Beloved: Songs from an Evening with Carson McCullers I've actually got some pretty big praise for this album. I've had the CD since late 2016, which is also the year it came out, and I am still of the opinion that this is one of the very best albums of that whole year. |

Phoebe Bridgers Stranger in the Alps And as I'm building my top 50 list and think it's starting to get set, this album comes in and just f*cking blows that all to hell. Holy f*cking somber gut punching honest lyricy make you want to die ballsacks this is good. |

Murder Of The Universe I think we agree really is a horrible trainwreck though.
