Would you call him smart?

You better listen to that album btw.

i would say he's smarter than your standard rapper. in the world of intellectual rappers he's not very far up the list though.

and i most certainly will. don't let me down.

I'd agree with that.

Some of the hooks suck tbh but I still really enjoy the album.

I feel like I need to dive more into their discography. I haven't been able to care about anything after Jane Doe as I kind of don't care about a pretty hefty percentage of post-hardcore, but early Converge gives them enough goodwill that I can't sneer at them yet.

Converge - Jane Doe

If I ever mentioned that Converge's last record was superior to anything they've ever done, I misspoke and meant to say that I hardly ever listened to Converge in my life and that now thoroughly listening to Jane Doe a few times, I can safely say this is better than most post-hardcore albums I've listened to in awhile.

sorry Q.

Edit: The Dusk In Us is still fantastic.

yes. the dusk in us is fantastic. but the rest of their discography is too. Jane Doe will only get better with each listen, trust me. keep going through their discography, there's tons of elite level math/metal/hardcore to find.

I like the new Robert Plant release more than I liked anything he did with Led Zep Mildly controversial, I know.

I have that, but have yet to listen to it. The only Plant solo I listened to was Now and Zen: didn't like it, but this is getting good reviews so I'll give him another chance. Maybe it'll grow on me.
