Pretty sure that "putting off" implies that she will inevitably listen to it.

Well that could be the case, but still, to avoid, even temporarily, listening to an album cos you don't like the cover is silly. And it hurts to say that cos I love Ped, but well, she did call me foolish in my thread, and that stings. Revenge is, well, revenge I guess...

Phenomenal ambient record. Lemongrass never seems to stick to one particular style of electronic from record to record, but this one is particularly cunning. Adam Granduciel seems to get more and more interesting with each record under this moniker. This latest outing slants things in a decidier late 70's yacht rock / country rock direction, and that's just fine with me. His take on indie rock is now blending into some conflagration of Kenny Loggins more experimental late 70's FM material, The Eagles and maybe Jackson Browne. However you describe it though, the songs are very good. Exceptionally so.

Yeah but add "review" into that sentence and you'll see where I am. Also don't forget the two album clubs I'm in, and the Journals Update is due soon.

And you're not foolish as a general rule, just for attempting the impossible (you are not the first person to attempt it, and the others didn't succeed either) and for denying the value of RYM as a resource. Time is limited and valuable. I'm gonna give myself the best odds of finding new, quality albums. |
