I really like this, almost every track. I think I like it more than dr. octagon. Kool Kieth raps are too ****ing good and dan the automator makes lots of lovable instrumental tracks. I love it. http://www.progarchives.com/progress...1717102008.jpg I had this on my computer once I burned off my dads computer for a while but i never really listened to it till now and it sounds like a mix of the beatles, kraftwerk and david bowie. I love it. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi..._The_Beast.jpg Never listened to any iron maiden except for run to the hills ( dont worry it was b4 rock band came out) but recently i got it and I was pretty suprised. There are a couple reallly good tracks on it. |

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_npTQ9hjjpQ...rs+-+front.jpg It can wear on your nerves if you try to listen to the whole thring through, but if you pace yourself you'll fall in love with it. |
Listening to Ghosts I - IV by NIN right now... very interesting stuff! Very much enjoying the quite mellow, broody but quite atmospheric sound... definitely something that will bear repeated listens...

Ive got a soft spot for Neil Finns music and (some) Crowded House as well, probably because my mum used to play it all the time along with Lighthouse Family/Simply Red/Beautiful South/etc. This album actually cost me a whole 60p, possibly the best thing Ive ever bought for 60p.
On this album he plays with Eddie Vedder, Johnny Marr, Ed O' Brian (I think) from Radiohead, some lassie as well i cant rememeber the name of. http://mp3.boriss.org/img/Neil-Finn-Friends-3112.jpg Top tracks: An excellent version of the smiths classic by Neil Finn. Probably the best tune he did solo: Im still to check out Split Endz and some Tim Finn. |
well, i'm definately gonna spin Beefheart again, but as of now, i'm infatuated with this
Dixie Dregs-Free Fall http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_bhGqBQjwzL...+Free+Fall.JPG second time today that i'm giving it a spin, which is unusual for me as i don't replay albums that much is so little time.. |

I cant stop playing this album, it's just fantastic from beginning to end. And the fact that these guys, along with Sonic Youth, can kick the living sh!t out of all young bands today is just incredible. It's like the last 20 years has never happened. |
Listening to Doubt Seeds by Bluebottle Kiss, still love this album to death after two years...it takes in such a broad range of styles and mostly dark subject matter, sounds amazing both musically and lyrically... one of Australia's great unheard of gems, amazing band.
