Fink - Sort of Revolution
http://img.sharedmp3.net/files/pics/...4/img_1_pr.jpg Got this from my buddy Jackhammer...I like to think of it as electronic-indie-blues-folk. I'm loving it so far. Favorite songs are 'Sort of Revolution' and 'Move on Me'...check it. |

Since I've seen him live I don't think any of his tunes have been removed from my car stereo. |

I've been digging this for a long time. I like hip hop, but it seems like albums that I really end up enjoying are so hard to find. I love this one. |

Edit: You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more. Arab on Radar - Yahweh on the Highway Opening with a "sometimes, I just gotta jerk off!", this album is filled with absurd sexual vulgarity. The guitars are purposefully crude and grating, using minor seconds and sloppy picking topped off with some ugly distortion. The disgusting imagery blends well with the awful clashing of **** on ****. A great album if you're bored with music or life in general and need to throw up some frustration and inability to achieve your most basic goals. It only seems necessary to end this synopsis with a simple "**** you, **** yourself." Favorite tracks: God is Dad, Semen on the Mount |
Ivde recentley been on a day long Paul Weller binge, and its kind of continued into today as well lol. The album I surprisingly keep coming back to is a live album called 'Days Of Speed' from 2001. It features a good mix of his solo material and a few Jam tracks near the end as well. All of the songs are played acoustically and there is a fantastic alternate version of 'Out Of The Sinking'. Also I had the 'Brand New Start' single for years but never really liked the song until I heard it on this album. Excellent album and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in hearing a different take on some of his better known songs as well as some more obscure ones such as 'The Loved' which i didnt really like that much either until I heard the version on this album:
Didnt like this song at first but its grown on me after hearing this live version: I realised how beautiful a song this is after hearing this performance: Excellent alternate version of this song: |
