So I'm a ****ing idiot and never actually listened to the extension of Epicloud. I don't know why I haven't yet but this is fantastic. 10 extra tracks that I've yet to hear from Epicloud as a whole.
I love a number of songs of Epicloud, but Epiclouder alone is among my favorite DTP "albums" so damn good!!!!

Z2 doesn't rate as high as the first four DTP albums to me but Midnight Sun and Fallout are so powerful to me.

Dark Matters is great, not as existentially deep as ZTO and different in approach (being a bigger production and all). It's a fun album, many cool moments. Dev's always self-aware, so I guess the way it works is that he is almost parodying ZTO (which in itself is a parody of Strapping Dev). But then it's more child-friendly. Idk.
To some extent I miss the more vile toilet humor that made Ziltoid so distinctive. I was hoping that Ziltoid would find Captain Spectacular on a giant anus planet or something

Chaz Bundick Meets the Mattson 2 - Star Stuff

Definitely in the running for favorite album so far in 2017. Jammed out psych pop with a whole bunch of other sounds and textures thrown in. It's really good. It's kind of what Tame Impala could sound like if they didn't suck balls.

Mattson 2 are excellent live. I saw them open up for Silver Apples and their guitarist really tore it up. Glad to see they're going places, they're cool guys too.

Simeon of Silver Apples passed out during the encore (You & I), supposedly from heat exhaustion. They started clearing out the venue but my friend and I stayed to see if he was okay. He came to and finished the song like a bad mother****er.

After a recent interview I've read, it sounds like they're (he?) working on that.

Faust - Fresh Air

Can Faust do no wrong? This is just as good as Just Us, if not better. I see this getting lots of spins this year.
