Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence (2014)

Because it's the best album ever.

Might be his best solo album yet.
I can't believe me and Frown seem to be the only fans of his on MB.
Even if you don't care about the inhuman virtuosity, this is just beautiful.

Yeah, been listening to this for the past week or two.
It's even better that his second volume of New History Warfare.
Goes out with a grand bang on Lure of the Mine.

Yeah, it's an amazing finale.
Apparently he has recorded enough material for two albums and the second part will be released some time this year. Really looking forward to this.

Maybe we can see a box set in his future like Nate Wooley's latest masterwork.

Now Playing:

I love Nate Wooley, but haven't heard it yet.
Thanks for the heads-up.

I was disappointed, but am glad to see that he's not in a rut, which the New History Warfare series made me worried about (even though they're great). I only listened to it once though, I might be more into it on future listens.

To See New Light (song) is his best work to date imo.

If you get the physical box set, it has a couple of booklets inside.
I love reading about compositional approaches which is what one
of the booklets reveals and the other booklet consists of the actual
scores themselves. Nice to have these works, that were once scattered,
all together in a nice hard box. His Sound American publishing is good too.
