this is one of the best hip-hop albums i've found in quite some time. it's a brilliant blend of abstract hip-hop, trip-hop, ambient, and some other stuff that someone with more of an electronic background than myself could probably distinguish. this reminds me a lot of Rome Fortune's last full-length, which I loved, except this is put together much better.

That is a damn excellent album. I think of him as a modern Gil Scott-Heron. Have you heard I'm New Here?

i'm like 99% sure you played me a song from it in plug/dub once and told me to check it out. still haven't done so but i have it downloaded, will give it a go.

yeah, i did. i thought it was ok but it kinda feels like he's just saying the same thing on every track. i really dug the production though.
