@Goof That's a great album. Glad there's still amazing spiritual jazz out there in a world where Kamasi Washington can appropriate the genre so easily.

is Kamasi Washington not good? I've never listened to him because 1. the epic is too long and 2. everybody cared about him for like a week and then he disappeared.

He's alright but not the god/jazz saviour he was made out to be. The Epic was ambitious but mainly because of the size of his band; the music wasn't anything groundbreaking in the slightest.
