My #1 album for listening while driving lately.
So goddamn beautiful.

Not a big fan of blues rock, so I never bothered to check out Rory Gallagher.
Big mistake, since at least this live album is absolutely amazing.
Looking forward to checking out more of his stuff.

FM-84 - Atlas (2016)

Some absolutely beautiful atmospheric synthwave from a band I've been exploring a lot of. Unfortunately this is the only full album they have, but god damn it's a great one.

Rory is the biz man!

Also check out my journal for an in-depth profile on Ireland's favourite son, deeply missed.

Hail Spirit Noir - Mayhem in Blue (2016)
Avant-garde black metal from Greece. The music ranges from full-on black metal to psychedelic rock jams, often within the same song. But best of all the band manage to make this music sound fun.

Taint - The Ruin of Nová Roma (2005)
Sludge metal/post-hardcore album from a vastly under-appreciated Welsh band, and is better than anything Baroness ever recorded.

I've been getting into them recently and all three of their albums are getting heavy rotation. And yes, they are ridiculous amounts of fun for a black metal band.

Syrinx - Tumblers From the Vault

Amazing and ahead of its time.

Martha - Blisters In The Pit Of My Heart

It took me forever to get around to listening to this, but when I finally did and realized they had members of ONSIND I was sold immediately. Amazing.
