Aside from that the album has so many travel overtones... it suits the music great. Still one of my favorite REM albums, could be considered a real sleeper in their back catalogue.

I know that it's a picture that Michael Stipe took during the Monster tour, but I'm not sure where he took it.

Today I'm really liking these albums:

Reckoning - REM

I think this album is a gem that just lurked in the shadows of Murmur. There are so many great songs on here like: Harborcoat, Pretty Persuasion, and Time After Time.

Classic Queen! I can play this one all day :D

I don't have any music with me and I can't play it on my computer here. :( But, I've been listening to:

7 Seconds: Walk Together Rock Together

A great hardcore album, a little more melodic than some of their stuff. It has a great cover of 99 Red Baloons too, a song that I really love.

Verryyyyy good 333, that was one of my favorite albums of 2008.

Today I found some truly great music, one album being "Uncanny Eyes" by The Peculiar Pretzelmen possibly one of the strangest dark cabaret and Gothic Country albums I have ever heard. So addictive and well orchestrated.

The Move - Shazam (1970)

early '70s guitar-driven rock pretending to be mid-sixties psychedelia pretending to be completely awesome. and that's what it is. with an album cover like that, how could you resist? :D

^ That's a pretty good album. Starts off a little on the meh side but is strong in the middle and finishes with the best song, IMO.

The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull is one of those albums that immediately take me there at first listen. Needless to say, it's had me since then.

Also, referring to Uncanny Eyes - will you be adding it to your most recent thread?

I will eventually, however I've already got next week's artist lined up, but I suppose if you're curious enough I can get that album up sometime in the next day or so. I need to anyways because there's some other people I want to share it with.
