JAMC are easily in my top three favorite bands (with a typical revolving number one spot )....but in the last year or so i have really been gravitating to their sophomore release....and it's just so fucking good

Animals As Leaders - The Joy of Motion



Probably the best prog metal album I've ever heard (not that I have much exposure to the genre).

Do you guys think it's bad?

I feel like so much metal turns me off because of smaltzy stylistic choices that just turn me off.

I'm not a prog guy so it's fine. Listen to BTBAM and Protest the Hero though, prog metalcore is the ****.
