A throwaway Rock/electronic sample heavy album or influential cult classic? I know what view I have. So so good. Dated horribly but who cares?

I actually think this album aged pretty well. A semi-obscure classic.

No problem, let me know what you think of the others. His first album "Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing" isn't really that great, it was purely solo under the title Strapping Young Lad and Devin himself only said two tracks were really decent. Their self-titled album was alright, but definitely not in the top three. "Alien" is probably the most similar to "City" as far as intensity and lyrical content, but "The New Black" really shines as it really does strike a good balance between their hardcore metal and humor.

Ahhhhh, enjoying the mostly soothing sounds of Australia's Augie March... man, when these guys wanna create a serene and beautiful texture in a song, they can sure do it well! Most of their debut album, Sunset Studies is wonderfully epic textured experience of an album... Their latest, Watch me Disappear is kinda half and half.... some really great rockin' stuff but some of those nice mellow songs too... perfect for the end of day unwind....

Just gave it another spin, and remembered how fantastic it was.
