I find this offensive.

Their a big part of this even bigger and ambiguous genre called "a million times better than Radiohead."

Lizard of Ox by Wolves In Sheepskin Great album, one of the band's finest imo.

The opener on How Your Mother Cried Last Night is one of the best songs WISSK has done, but Lizard is the better album.

Yeah, basically this. Not a bad track on Lizard, or anything below great tbh.

Childhood Rememberences by Big City Orchestra this is incredible. kind of a mashup of strange sounds that I guess are supposed to be of ones childhood - balloon screeches, xylophones(?), ticking clocks - but mixed with these wonderful flowing drones. it works so perfectly together is astounding. "Amsterdam" almost sounds like a shoegaze precursor with its mumbling vocals and swirling guitar, but it too has those drones backing it. Could not recommend this album enough. |
