You know? think I can finally get into delta blues. I'm not seriously into the blues, but if I had to pick a favorite genre, either chicago blues or blues rock with electric blues as a past time. Having said that, I'm greatly enjoying Son House. I mean, his voice is perfectly bluesy. Great album.

Such a great album. It's funny you bring it up, because a podcast I listen to was using one of the tracks from it for their music during the RNC and DNC, reminding me of how much I love that album.

I hadn't heard this for years and I'm just speechless.

For some reason I can't embed this.

Kinda strange music for political jerk-off fests. I'm giving their second album a chance but it's too accessible and bubble gummy for my tastes.

The Elected - Sun, Sun, Sun

Very mellow, catchy mid-2000's indie. The singer was formally the guitarist in Rilo Kiley. He was even dating Jenny Lewis at one point. Which means he plowed her at one point too, that bastard.
