One of the most complete albums I've ever heard. Rolling stone gave it a 3/5, which is the day I realized that Rolling Stone is garbage. Every song start to finish is amazing.

Great guitars on that album me thinks. RS should had rated that album higher. All Music rates it 4/5.

No, I just like to exaggerate and mess with people.

Guitars, drums and lyrics are what make me like it so much.

Well that's one of the main reasons I don't like Rolling Stone.

Black on Both Sides by Mos Def

I've listened to this every day this week so far. Just obsessed. So smooth, but still hard hitting. Quickly becoming one of my favorite hip hop albums of the 90s, if not all time.

Rolling Stone always seems to have the attitude that notoriety and fame is equal to a good album rather than based off it's artistic merit.

An EP rather than an album, but this is what I've been digging recently I guess

Iggy Pop- Post Pop Depression (2016)

I listened to a few tracks last month and they were pretty rad. Now, three songs in, I'm really liking it. Top production and Iggy is on point.

I just popped in here to post about this album. I was impressed enough with the first listen to give it another go, and now I'm fully addicted to the album. There's something about the desert rock vibe of Josh Homme that just really works with Iggy's style. Considering I didn't expect much going in, this was a very pleasant surprise.

I may have posted about this before, but **** it...I'm also really addicted to this album:

Wild Nothing - Life of Pause

I enjoyed Nocturne well enough, but it was your run of the mill chill-wave kind of thing so I didn't expect much else out of Life of Pause. It's definitely still mining the same vibe, but the quality of songwriting has improved x10. Every song has some kind of ear worm addictive quality to it. Highly recommended.

Elle King - Love Stuff (2015)

Really enjoying the first half of this so far. First heard her through "Ex's & Oh's", which I really enjoy. It's a cross between Pop, Americana and Blues. Good shit imo.

I dig Ex's & Oh's quite a bit too, but haven't ventured any deeper than that into her music. Worth a listen?
