Well,to be truthful guys, this album is really kicking my ass. To say that i'm very impressed with it with be a huge understatement. |

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/urbanH/125824.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/urbanH/117009.jpg The stuff I find myself listening to at work just seems to get more & more aggressive by the day. I'll end up killing someone by the end of the week at this rate. Maybe I should listen to something to chill me out. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l99/urbanH/21918.jpg Maybe not then |
Add in some Bolt Thower, Concrete Sox and Cerebral Fix and your sounds are sorted for the week.
|
Never really got into Bolt Thrower , but I know where I can get hold of plenty of Concrete Sox and Cerebral Fix.
|
I have 3 Concrete Sox and only ever needed the first Fix album although it's a vinyl rip and poor at that :( Seen Bolt Thrower about 5 times. Don't like them either

Tasavallan Presidentti - Lambertland
http://artrock.files.wordpress.com/2...ambertland.jpg Jazzy, lush, slightly psychadelic, and therefore totally awesome finnish jazz-rock. They've even got some horns, and a fantastic guitarist. Yes - Relayer http://www.grunni.com/bilder/Relayer Until now, I hadnt ventured past CTTE, mostly because both Wakeman and Bruford are gone soon after, but man, was I missing out. Despite the lack of those two, Relayer is actually an awesome album. The new keyboard player is pretty awesome, too. It is still very obviously Yes, but they have an edgier sound, and the musicians take more risks(i.e. "sound chaser") not to mention "Gates of Delirium" is one of the most epic Yes songs I think Ive ever heard...and I just cant get over how AWESOME that album cover is. Boud Deun - Astronomy Made Easy http://img12.nnm.ru/9/3/c/2/e/08d1bc...09b5354cc7.jpg This is just freaking insane! Energetic, chaotic, yet sometimes quite beautiful, Progressive rock ownage. What is particularly amazing is the instrumental virtuosity these guys have. All four of them(guitar, bass, drums, violin) are just amazing. Influences range from Jazz to folk to punk. Now one of my top 10 favorite albums. You'd do yourself a huge favor to get this one(or their next album, "The Stolen Bicycle", which is also mind-blowing) |
arab strap - elephant shoe
love this, brilliant lyrics and familiar to my scottish self are some of the excellent phrasings that most people probably won't understand. love this album. |
