Just broke this out the archives haven't listened to it in a good year... Premo hiphop right here, and her best work imo.

Horde by Mnemonists

a freaky jazz-mechanical drone record that's chilling to the bone. Side A is a strange quiet solo string piece mashed between airplane propellers and fast forwarding cartoons at 10x (not literally, I just cant explain the sounds better).
Side B is a being in a blackout on an indoor rollercoaster. and then a carnival. and then dying (the ending is adequately called "The Meat").

Ive never tried to write anything about this record but it sounds as batshit as I do posting this. And it came out in 1981. Mind boggling to be sure.

Love Mnemonists and the follow-up band Biota (which eventually moved towards a folkish, but still super weird style).
Totally unique stuff.

Brutal Truth - Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses

This wasn't even my fav Brutal Truth album a while ago, but after listening to it a few times for the grindcore battle in my totally awesome thread of bitchingness I've found myself listening to it over and over again (which is something I generally don't do for any album).

It's intense as any grindcore should be, but the mid-paced, sludgy sections of riff godliness, and vocals with lyrics you can actually understand, make for an oppressive, claustrophobic, sinister atmosphere that you generally don't get from the unrestrained chaos of grindcore. The production is dense and distorted as **** as well, which contributes to all the **** I just said. Yeah.

Brutal Truth ****ing rules.

Not big into Country, but this guy might change my mind, at least to "Outlaw" Country.

Ghetto Ghouls - Collisions (2015)
Sophomore effort from these Texan garage punks, digging it a lot more than their s/t debut from last year. Though I'll have to revisit that one now that I've played this a handful of times.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
