The thing that separates The Alan Parsons Project from so many other "classic" artists was Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson's insane level of professionalism from album to album regardless of the musicians involved or album concept: even their most commercial stuff has a classiness about it that's only rivaled by Steely Dan. This particular outing was the last official album released under the APP moniker, but having spent some time with it I think its right up there with their best material (like Eye In The Sky or Tales Of Mystery & Imagination). And a there are a few cuts in particular, such as Too Late' and the Dire Straits-ish 'Money Talks', that are pure radio gold for the late 80's. Very fun.
Agree on this; one of APP's best efforts along with Stereotomy and Pyramid.

I think I saw him at one of the music festivals I watched on telly --- what was it called? Mentioned it in my journal ---- anyway he was great fun and a really good singer and guitarist, if that's the same guy.

Preview of Metal Month III.
This is an amazing album. Israeli prog/symphonic metal kind of rock opera telling the story of the freedom from captivity and slavery of the Jews by the Egyptians.

Another snapshot from Metal Month III. Superb one-man melodic metal from Syria. Amazing.

The chick in the video looks like a secret love-child of Michael Jackson and David Bowie.

A little, but don't let that fool you, her music is actually good!

Timbre - Sun & Moon

This was so beautiful. Around 2 hours in length and I still listened to it twice in a row because I liked it so much. Going to explore some more chamber folk.
