Knife Man - Andrew Jackson Jihad

I binged this record when I heard it, put it down, and now I'm binging again. This albums literally ALL killer, no filler. The lyrics are some of the best I have EVER heard and the band are so tight with their folk-punk arrangements. It's a perfect album the whole way through.

So this is ****ing great. Guitar playing chops galore. The whole band is talented but this is rad. Marrissa's voice took some getting used to but it's pretty great once you do. Flirts with dancey post-punk, angular indie rock, and more riff oriented sludginess. It's ****ing good as ****.
I think I called that my AOTY so far a month or two ago. Probably still is up there.

Well, it's time to go through the late Coil's entire discography. Their stuff has piqued my interest, because it's fantastic.

Experimental electronica (that's if it's similar to his other albums). Some call it vapor wave but I don't really think OPN really fits into that category.
