Fräkmündt - Landlieder & Fromländler Some kind of awesome sounding Swiss alpine neofolk, a wide array of acoustic instruments, accordions and flutes and whatnot. Super, super catchy. I was pretty sold on the first track when I heard a blastbeat. |

This one's probably hitting me especially hard because I'm in a bit of a lovelorn mood. But I really adore a lot of these tracks (Ex-Factor, Lost Ones, Forgive Them Father, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You), and her singing is just on point. And the interludes do a wonderful job of setting the mood for the album. |

So this is ****ing great. Guitar playing chops galore. The whole band is talented but this is rad. Marrissa's voice took some getting used to but it's pretty great once you do. Flirts with dancey post-punk, angular indie rock, and more riff oriented sludginess. It's ****ing good as ****.
