Giving this Father John Misty an album a try in about 10 minutes, will post thoughts
Edit: Yeah pretty good but not great, I'm not a big fan of his lyrical style sometimes

It's my favorite thing I've done, Frownland will tell you the full length Battle of Worlds is where it's at, but I'm all about this EP.
On topic: The Bathory influence on this old school black metal album is savage, and I personally have a thing for Mayan concepts. Would recommend to every batlord on the forum |

For some reason I expected a more indie folk sound from this guy. I'm slowly starting to catch up to 2014, and I see this becoming one of my favorites from that year. Gonna have to go ahead and explore his discography in the coming days now. I'm interested. Hopefully I'll remember this time. I'm too swamped with music for my own good. |
