If you like shoegaze at all I recommend listening to their discography, but Blonder Tongue Audio Baton is a great starter (or at least it was for me).

Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets

I've been exploring different genres tonight and I'm enjoying everything I'm hearing. This in particular is pretty great.

You seem to a lot like me when it comes to listening to new music

You seem to like almost everything you come across to some degree.

Yeah I pretty much love everything about music. There are some ear-wrenching radio singles out there I'd happily nuke without hesitation, but other than that I haven't disliked anything I've actively sought out in my new-found extreme love for all things music. The only thing I truly hate with a passion is my own voice and music, sadly.

This guy is in my backlog (I think the entirety of the music universe is in my backlog at this point.) I'll be posting my thoughts either tonight or tomorrow.

Do you make music a lot?

Yeah I'd love to see what you think, it's nothing that weird it's just a really pleasent memorable album imo.

Opeth - Blackwater Park

Surprisingly I actually listened to Opeth a good amount back when I was younger and my favorite bands were among the likes of Linkin Park, Korn and Limp Bizkit. I'm coming back now that I'm older and more interested in music and luckily it's still great. I'm glad at least some small unknown part of my younger self didn't deserve to die in a fire.

I'm sure it is. I heard plenty of positive reviews about it all through 2014.

I don't make my own music (outside of some fl studio stuff.) I practice other people's music on a daily basis, though. Guitar/piano/terriblesinging. It's a shame :/

Just sing a lot believe me youll become more comfortable with yourself, I couldn't sing a note when I started, but just over the last 3 years slowly got more comfortable with myself. Also try writing some stuff on your own, it really helps with Co fidence, and you can only get better.
