Words ... for once, words just fail me.
This is probably one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking, gut-wrenching albums I have ever heard in my life. Watch for a review in the Classic Albums journal, and eternal thanks to YorkeDaddy for suggesting it. Unbelievable.

i wasnt sure if you'd ever get to it!

Still my #1 album of all time, but I can't even listen to it that often because it weighs on me so heavily, but that's what makes a truly exceptional album in my eyes.

This was my favorite album around 6 months back. Haven't listened to The Antlers much at all in the last few months sadly. Thanks for the reminder.

The Angels of Light - How I Loved You

I'm already a fan of Swans and now I'm a fan of TAOL as well. Michael Gira can have my babies any time. I'm also stoked to see the collab of TAOL and Akron/Family that I have yet to catch a good listen of. Can't wait!

Low - I Could Live in Hope

I fell in love with their album "The Curtain Hits the Cast" and now I'm starting to explore further into their discography. I gave this one a few listens so far and I'm really feeling it. My interest in slowcore is definitely growing after my experience with Low and Carissa's Wierd. A beautiful genre for delicious tears.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer

Another solid album from TDEP. I love their style and one of my favorite harder bands. I'm not quite a big listener of this style of music anymore (ear problems) but I will sit through the pain if I have to. Extended stays are not hard when it's TDEP.

Converge - Jane Doe

Converge has been on my hit list for quite awhile now. I've heard a lot of great things about them and my need for ear rape last night led to me finally checking it out. I winded up listening to it several times and thoroughly enjoying it. Nice lyricism. Nice music. I woke up with my ears ringing, but it was all worth it.

On The Antlers, I've been in love with Familiars, their newest, it's definitely my favorite by them. The whole thing is just so lush, and the pacing is perfect.

Kitty - impatiens (2014)

I'd describe this best as cutesy cloud rap. Some really great beats and she is a pretty decent rapper in her own way.

I closed my eyes and listened to this album all the way through without opening my eyes. I felt as if someone was holding my hand the whole time. You can imagine my surprise when I saw the album cover AFTER having listened to the album. Well done, I say.

Hans Zimmer, Interstellar OST

Crappy picture, but whatever.

I haven't technically listened to this album by itself. But I did see the movie yesterday, and HOLY **** besides the fact that it's one of the best movies I've ever seen, this ****ing soundtrack was consistently blowing my mind. It may or may not be a different experience without the visuals and emotional blows the the story delivers, but this music is undoubtedly great.

Crying - Get Olde / Second Wind

This album is easily the most addicting album I've heard all year. I'm usually hit or miss on chiptune influenced music, but this is so energetic chaotic, and fun. The vocals are incredible as well. Highly recommended.
