Really love this, couple of mediocre tracks but mostly excellent.

This is by far one of my favorite Igorrr albums that I have heard recently. Not saying the others are bad by any means, but this one is just really really good.

Definitely one of the greatest minimal electronic pop albums ever:

Orlando Julius with The Heliocentrics Jaiyede Afro

Any release from Nigerian saxophonist Orlando Julius would be cause enough for celebration but add in London's Heliocentrics and it's a perfect, killer match. Joyous & infectious- and so far my favorite Afro-funk album of the year.

Giving this a listen. I feel a female James Blake coming on.

Laura Marling - Once I Was An Eagle

This albums really growing on me. This woman's vocal talent, not to mention her poetry are as on point as any singer/songwriter I've heard in a long while. "Little Love Caster" has a Spanish guitar feel to it, beautifully restrained finger plucking.
Most of these tracks are very stripped back, instrumentally. Almost lo-fi, if lo-fi was produced really well? If there's one complaint I could really hark on, it's that a lot of these tracks sound similar, again instrumentally. To a fault of course, but it in no way deterring from Laura Marling, doing what she does best four albums deep, each above average records.

8/10
