An old favorite mystical/ambient/jazz/psych record from 1974. Too bad it was the only album the band released.

Slowdive - Souvlaki

I can only echo Trollheart's laments from how many months ago, at not having heard this sooner...
I know; widely renowned/celebrated album, but I feel I can't overstate this.

I do enjoy eating souvlaki. May have to see if the album version tastes as good.

James Plotkin, Paal Nilssen-Love - Death Rattle

The bass guitarist from Khanate collaborates with the incredible free jazz drummer Nilssen-Love on this album. It's some pretty kickass stuff, great drumming as expected, and some very inventive guitar stylings from Plotkin. Highly recommended if you like new takes on jazz.
