Kreng - Grimoire A nice mix of modern classical and dark ambient that makes for some very eerie moments. There are some parts where an overblown (the technique, not exaggeration) horn comes in and Kreng even throws in some khoomei style throat singing on one track. This album's really good, I'll definitely be checking out the rest of his stuff. |

Pivot - O Soundtrack My Heart. Credit for hearing this album goes to Graham Lineham and Richard Ayoade of The I.T Crowd who are big fans and inserted a flyer into the series set design of the sit com. Best description? 65daysofstatic meets Tangerine Dream on a Post Punk Revival night. Filthy beggars. |

Outkast - ATLiens Seeing bits and pieces of their Coachella set made me go back and rediscover their almighty discography. This one's my favourite. It's perfection. http://blog.kexp.org/blog/files/2010/10/REM-fables.jpg R.E.M. - Fables Of The Reconstruction This is probably the I.R.S. album I know the least. I could probably recount the others word for word. This one is great too, so I've been spending some time with it. |

Pantera - Cowboys from hell
Cons: WAY too long. That's easily the biggest problem I have. The lyrical delivery bothers me on some tracks. The lyrics themselves are a bit dark for me like "Heresy." Pros: Certain songs like "Message In Blood," "Primal Concrete Sledge" and "The Art of Shredding" pretty much run roughshod over any other heavy metal I've listened to before. |

Ween's Quebec. I love them, they've put out tons of great stuff but this album feels like their most mature. Transdermal Celebration is one of the best songs they've ever done IMO
