Joie de Vivre - The North End It's been a loooong time since I've listened to an emo album (excluding The World Is a Beautiful Place's newest album), but I'm really enjoying this. I have a feeling that I'll be listening to it quite a bit during the next few months. :> |

The Isley Brothers - It's Our Thing (1969) The sixth album by the Isley Brothers and the first one where they had complete artistic control from songwriting to producing. Top-notch soul/funk from start to finish, featuring their number 2 hit on the R&B charts, 'It's Your Thing' |
Aesop Rock - Bazooka Tooth (Crunk And Bug Bites mixes) (2005) Can't find an official album cover for this album but it's pretty neat. Some classic beats used here (Get Ur Freak On, Dirt Off Your Shoulder, Goodies) and it's pretty damn entertaining. |

Die by the sword ! Coincidentally, certain parts of Die by the Sword sound very similar to Hangar 18.. |
Thee Oh Sees - Floating Coffin
and Drudkh - Autumn Aurora and Blood Ceremony - Blood Ceremony |

Have you listened to Drop yet? I need a couple more listens to fully make up my mind but so far, so good. I love Floating Coffin though, Minotaur has been stuck in my head for days. |

The Toys - The Toys Sing "A Lover's Concerto" and "Attack!" (1966) 60's girl group goodness from vocal trio "The Toys." Comparable to other similar vocal groups of the time, like "Martha and the Vandellas" and "The Supremes." |
The Take Off And Landing Of Everything by Elbow. Really consistent album.
