It's just so damn out of place. I might delete it, and just play the rest of the album.
Yep that's the one. I always end up skipping it when I play this album.

Third/Sister Lover by Big Star. Absolutely great. Too depressing though. But it just strikes a chord with my feelings so never mind.

Balthazar - Rats. Soft late night (it's been a hard working day) music, goes purrrfectly with a glass of red wine. Currently: Côtes du Rhônes Village. (I would recommend the opening song Sinking ship, especially good with this wine)

I usually don't listen to an album more than twice a month, let alone soul. I have listened to this three times over and over. What can say? What an imaginative, eclectic, creative fusion piece of work. So many subtle influences makes for a complex piece yet sounds so simple and just gorgeous. Nai Palm hits some different vocal ranges from what you'll hear usually with soul. I'm done describing. Love this album.

Hard to pick just one track because this works better as a whole album.

Side note: I really need to move to Melbourne, most of the fantastic acts I know are from there.
Holy **** this is amazing.

Trip-hop with cheesy-as-hell lyrics, tons of innuendo and Mike Patton. What's not to love about Lovage?

Please forgive the subtitles.

What kind of music is it? And what's the name of the band? I can't quite make it out.

Band's name is Donso, album is Denfila.

I guess it's afrobeat mixed with electronic. Very cool and interesting sound imo. Here's a link to their bandcamp if you wanna give em a listen:

Denfila | Comet

That Comet label has some other cool stuff too.

Savoy Brown - You Should Have Been There! (2004)

Top-notch live album from Kim Simmonds and his 2004 lineup of Savoy Brown. This is a great album to listen to while driving on the open road. Fantastic playing, excellent quality recording, the band is on fire from start to finish. no Savoy Brown fan should be without this album. Energetic blues/rock at its finest!
