To ThatOneKidNamedSurah: ever think of previewing your post? Your image did not work and all you have is a boatload of machine code taking up god knows how many lines. Preview's there for a reason you know.

(Not that you'll be back of course: two posts...)

sunn((ra)) - Until This Day His Curse Is Still the Plague of Man

Discovered this guy recently through bandcamp discover. This album is a two part drone that is quite haunting and explores some unique textures. Tried to find more on this artist, but google searches only brought up results about Sun Ra and Sunn O))),

Shabazz Palaces - Black Up

Received this Crimbo gift from Clancy in the mail yesterday. Solid album, I hadn't heard it before and am glad to have something new in my collection. I've never heard anything like it, it's beyond the genre of hip-hop. Really, really enjoying it. Thanks, Goof.

I originally downloaded this for my stepdad, who loves all kinds of music from this era. I ended up putting it on my iPhone while I was compiling the CD since I enjoyed it so much. I love all of the warmth and imperfections that the recordings have. One of my favorite tracks is his cover of this song:
