Do you agree with their influence in the history of hip hop though?

I just listened to Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven!for the first time earlier and I enjoyed it a lot. I think I'll be listening to that and other stuff of theirs a lot more from now on.
Other albums I'm currently digging: Andrew Jackson Jihad - Knife Man The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds Streetlight Manifesto - Somewhere in the Between |

I mean I don't care about influence (lI think it's a dumb thing to take into account for liking something ever) but damn I am just always floored when listening to them. And that's cool for me. I like being blown away listening to things. Don't really care if others disagree tbh

AM - Arctic Monkeys Nothing new here, but this is still a pretty damn fine rock record. I admire the sound they created when Humbug was dropped and they've just built around it with "Suck it & See" and now "AM". Just another few years for another album, worth waiting.

Das Racist - Relax This group consists of three dank emcees rapping over some interesting beats. When I'm in the mood for this album, it packs quite a punch.

Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee join forces for Break Science. Dietch handles the drums while Borahm dj's off of his laptop while sometimes switching to keyboards and they end up creating some interesting danceable tracks. These guys have over 20 years of music experience producing music for many artists from Wyclef Jean and the Fugees, Raekwon and Gza to Lee Scratch Perry and John Scofield
